I voted for Ron Paul for President of the United States of America. I voted in California and I am not a Republican. How did I legally do this?

Did you vote for Ron Paul when he ran as a Libertarian in 1988. No need to be registered as a Rep. in California.
Janine got it! It was the general election in 1988 and it didn't matter which party you were in. It's hard to believe that was 20 years ago.
