Sacramento— Over the next three weeks, members of the public are invited to give input on the water quality certification process for the dams along the Klamath River. The State Water Board will hold a series of meetings near the Klamath (and in Sacramento) to gather public input for an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) related to relicensing of the hydroelectric dams. Technically, the EIR relates to the 401 Water Quality Certification of Klamath Hydroelectric Project (KHP). The project is owned by PacifiCorp.
