Rachel Maddow Coming to KGOE

Announcing Rachel Maddow coming to KGOE 1480 am here in Eureka.

Start date should be March 23, weeknights from 9 to 10pm.

Rachel will take the place of Jeff Rense who currently occupies that time slot.

I had toyed with the idea of putting Alex Jones in this slot, but Rachel Maddow is one of the fastest rising progressive talkers in the country. She recently got her own show on MSNBC and the ratings there are through the roof.

The radio industry is going through many changes due to the economic meltdown. The Adam Carolla show is no longer. Randy Rhodes is no longer on the air. Mike Malloy is on a bankrupt network. No one knows what the future holds for talk radio. We will start with just one hour of Rachel Maddow and expand the show if needed due to unforeseen circumstances.
